Cherokee National Holiday Art Show maintains traditions through artwork

In 1953, Cherokee National Holiday was established to commemorate the signing of the 1893 Cherokee Constitution. Cherokee National Holiday is one of the biggest events that happens in the state of Oklahoma. Indigenous people from around the country will soon gather in Tahlequah for the 65th Annual Cherokee National Holiday. In past years, Cherokee Nation has recorded more than 100,000 visitors.

Tulsa NatureWorks Art Show proceeds benefit environmental conservation

The NatureWorks Art Show makes its annual return to Tulsa to showcase nature-themed art and contribute to conservation efforts across the state. Lovers of art and the environment will come together at the show to view sculptures, carvings and paintings that are exclusively based on elements within nature. NatureWorks will showcase artists from across the country who have gained inspiration for their work from different wildlife and landscapes.


Fair Fellow Coffee showcases local artist

Many coffee shops have become a hub for local artists to meet and share their work with the community. Musicians and poets perform on open mic nights, and painters and photographers showcase their work in galleries. One of these shops, Fair Fellow, strives to support locals in Tulsa by facilitating a way for different artists to be featured each month.
