Located on Main Street in Muskogee, Erly Rush Coffeehouse is a hangout for coffee lovers and music lovers alike. The shop is quaint and adorned with art and photography from locals. Upon entering the place, a piano, a microphone and a couple of small amps are visible. These are used for the open mic nights that Erly Rush holds every Saturday night.

Music students prepare for summer break

The packed music performance calendar is coming to an end with the arrival of finals week. Many music students are materializing their summer breaks after the stress of spring ensemble performances. Many students spend their summer breaks relaxing with family, enjoying the outdoors or steering clear from school related functions, but instrumental and vocal musicians are expected to stay on their game over the break.

NAB brings Waka Flocka Flame to NSU

NAB is presenting NSU and the Tahlequah community with a concert at NSU’s Event Center. NAB has presented many concerts over the years with artists such as Jeremiah, Casey Donahew and The Swon Brothers. This year after receiving feedback from NSU students, the concert is being performed by Waka Flocka Flame.
