Flower Power Bike Ride was created by the Muskogee park and recreation department. This has been an annual event every year since the Spring of 1991.

The bike ride is taking place at Three Forks Harbor, and there are five different routes available to choose from. The routes include 20, 30, 50, 65 and 100 miles.

Every 10-15 miles there will be rest stops. The aid stops will provide water, Gatorade, fruit and cookies or snacks of some sort.

At the end there will be a cookout, and first come will be the first served.

Registration can be done before the event or the day of the event.

The ride is at 9 a.m., April 29. Registration for those who decide to register the day of starts at 7 a.m.

To register for the bike ride prior to the date, visit http://www.flowerpowerbicycle.com/registration.htm.
