Following the record breaking game on Tuesday against Bacone, the RiverHawks kept the fire going during Friday’s game. NSU closed out a four game homestand with a bang and hit the century mark for the second consecutive night, blasting Central Christian Mo. 118-46 inside the NSU Event Center.

The RiverHawks defeated a 72–hour-old facility scoring record by 11 points behind senior Tanner Mouse who matched his career mark with 22 points. All his scoring came in the first 25 minutes of play as Mouse hit a career high six three-pointers.

Junior Josh Ihek scored 20 on the Saints behind 8-for-9 shooting while pulling down nine rebounds. Junior Aaron Givens shot 6-for-7 and was NSU's third player in double-digits with 12 points.

“I was pleased with the way we attacked this game mentally,” said NSU head coach Mark Downey. “It is easy to make immature plays in a game like that, but we shared the ball and executed on both ends of the floor. It also allowed us to get everyone some good minutes and some confidence going forward.”

NSU men’s basketball will be on the road until the new year. Their upcoming game will be the first conference game of the season at 7:30 p.m., on Dec. 5, at Pittsburg State.
