RiverHawks baseball hands Lions their first two losses of the season

The RiverHawks faced off against the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions in a doubleheader last Sunday, Feb. 18. The games were originally scheduled to be played Saturday in Springdale, Ark., but they were moved to the Thomas C. Rousey Field in Tahlequah due to unplayable weather conditions. 

NSU baseball team wins with a walk-off to overcome seven-run deficit

One inning can change the course of an entire game. The RiverHawks baseball team learned that on Wednesday, as they rallied back from a 13-7 seventh inning deficit with eight runs over the final two innings to steal a victory from Northwestern Oklahoma State, 14-13.

RiverHawks baseball looks to carry winning streak through the remainder of week

The NSU RiverHawks baseball team played a doubleheader against the Rogers State University Wildcats. The RiverHawks were able to come home winning both games against the Wildcats as a result of great pitching, defense and offense from the RiverHawks.

Men’s basketball and baseball teams travel out of state over the weekend

The NSU men’s basketball and baseball teams played over the weekend. The basketball team traveled to Warrensburg, Mo. to play the Central Missouri University Mules for the RiverHawks’ 22nd game of the season. The baseball team traveled to Austin, Texas for their season opener against the St. Edward’s University Hilltoppers.
