Northeastern State Football adds 28 in National Signing Day

Published 2/8/18

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State head coach Rob Robinson announced the signing of 28 incoming student-athletes with the intent to play for the RiverHawks this upcoming fall.
The NSU coaching staff signed 12 from the state of Oklahoma, 11 from Texas, four out of Louisiana, and one from Missouri.  Of the RiverHawks in-state products, eight are located in "Green Country" which is the Northeastern section of Oklahoma.
"We hit a lot of needs and got a lot of good kids with this year's class," said head coach Rob Robinson.  "We got a great group of offensive linemen and two impact defensive tackles, the size on them is what stands out but they are good athletes at the same time.  We got some size at wide out and some long corners, then a couple inside-backers that can make an immediate impact."
