The RiverHawks took a road trip to Central Missouri last Thursday and had trouble finding the endzone to keep the game close. The team got one field goal in the first quarter and was scoreless after that point till they scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Craig Davis had the only touchdown of the game after a six-yard run on a nine-play drive.

On defense Ja’len Evans, sophomore defensive back and Ty Nichols, freshmen Safety and J’Quille Washington, sophomore linebacker led the team in tackles with six tackles a each.

“I expect every position on the defense to dominate the man in front of them,” Vonte’ White, junior defensive back. “We play with speed and swarm with aggression.”

The RiverHawks football team will play their next game at 7 p.m. at home against no. 23 ranked Pittsburg State.
