RiverHawks ranked No. 18 in final men’s soccer poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo.  The Northeastern State men's soccer team closed the 2017 season ranked No. 18 in the United Soccer Coaches' final national poll of the year.

The RiverHawks closed the season with a 14-6 record and advanced the national quarterfinals for the second time in program history.  Along the way, NSU broke a program record with nine straight home wins, and won its second NCAA Central Region title beating MIAA rivals Fort Hays State, 2-1.

The ranking by the United Soccer Coaches is the highest for NSU since the 2014 season where they appeared at No. 16 in week three.
