NSU’s Seiler headlines three All-MIAA Women’s Soccer selections

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northeastern State junior defender Emily Seiler headlined three postseason All-MIAA women's soccer honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Seiler earned Second Team honors for the RiverHawks defensive back line.  The Rogers, Ark. native started in all 18 contests and is second in minutes played; the RiverHawks were fifth in the MIAA in goals allowed per game at 1.393.

Paulina Chavez was a Third Team section after being named as the league's Freshman of the Year one season ago.   In the 2018 season, the Broken Arrow HS product is ninth in the MIAA with six goals.

Leslie Munoz placed as MIAA Honorable Mention as a true-freshman defender.   The Tulsa native started in all 18 contests and has played in the third most minutes this season for NSU.

Since joining the MIAA at the start of the 2012 season, the RiverHawks now have 38 named as All-Conference.
