No. 11 RiverHawks nearly upend No. 5 West Florida, 5-3

PENSACOLA, Fla. – No. 11 Northeastern State gave No. 5 West Florida nearly all it could handle on Tuesday but they would ultimately fall 5-3 on the road.  The Argonauts opened the season as one of NCAA Division II's hottest teams and entered the match undefeated through its first 13 matches. 

Women’s tennis team strives, after season opener loss to St. Mary’s.

The tennis team went to San Antonio on Feb. 2 to face the women Rattlers. Going into the matches NSU was ranked No. 2 in the region and No. 16 in national rankings as a team. Their opponent, St. Mary’s was ranked No. 1 in the regional rankings and No. 8 in the nation.

 


RiverHawks round out Feb. 2-4 weekend, prepare for weekend ahead

The RiverHawks softball team started off their season on a high note last weekend, as they defeated Missouri S&T 3-2, Ouachita Baptist 8-3 and Christian Brothers 5-3. Their only loss of the tournament came at the hands of Southern Arkansas, 9-1.
