Director of community and government relations retires from NSU

Jerry Cook, director of community and government relations, has spent 11 years at NSU. Throughout his years at NSU, Cook has been a representative for the college of optometry program, a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, and has assisted many of NSU’s presidents in building stronger relationships with elected officials in local, state, tribal and federal agencies. In the fall of 2008, Cook was named the director of community and government relations.

Chi Alpha is a community of believers on campuses at different universities. Their goal is to grow in fellowship with Jesus and invite other students to join them. They are proud to call themselves a group that is filled with prayer and worship – disciples with a mission to be a light to their campus communities and the world.
