The Panhellenic Council is the governing board of Panhellenic-affiliated sororities at NSU, which includes Alpha Omicron Pi, Sigma Sigma Sigma and Delta Zeta. The NSU council is also a part of the larger National Panhellenic Council. Panhellenic acts as the liaison between the affiliated chapters and the university. As the council just elected new executive members, the plans for next semester have begun.

“I'm very passionate about Greek life and the overall image of our Greek community at NSU,” said Ashtyn Taylor, Panhellenic president. “We serve together in order to make the Greek community as great as it should be. I'm very proud to say that this past semester we adopted Circle of Sisterhood as our philanthropy. Circle of Sisterhood raises money to remove educational barriers for girls and women facing poverty and oppression. I'm ready to see the offices and the women elected onto the council grow and evolve this semester.”

Panhellenic also plans philanthropic events and awareness programs for chapters to attend and coordinate formal sorority recruitment. All events are still in planning for next semester, but the council is excited to see the differences and programs they can bring.
