Phi Lamb, Pike and Alpha Omicron Pi have partnered to organize the event Nacho Average Block Party as a fundraiser for the Backpacks for Kids Foundation. The Backpacks for Kids Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides for children in need of backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school years. They will be selling all you can eat nachos for $5 and all proceeds are going to the charity.

“This is such a great event for a great cause,” said Jesse Lewis, Caney Valley freshman. “All Greeks are so passionate about Greek Sing, and we are wanting to do this to give back.”

Nacho Average Block Party is from 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry building.
