The Rowdy Resource Room has a variety of things to give to students. The organization gives items to students and also take donations. The items they offer are free to students.

In the spring of 2014, the Rowdy Resource Room was called Give Back, the RiverHawk Food Pantry on the Tahlequah campus to assist students in times of need. Now in 2017 as Rowdy's Resource Room, this resource provides non-perishable foods, gently used clothing, and school supplies. This donation-based program is a great way for students to give back and support their RiverHawks family. Rowdy's Resource Room is open to all NSU students.

Students are asked to fill out a form the first time they access Rowdy's Resource Room. After the first use, students need to present their NSU ID when visiting. This is used for reporting purposes to help the organization determine how often the Resource Room is being used.

“Whether you are in need of ramen noodles, toilet paper, or a t-shirt, come visit us at Rowdy’s Resource Room, because hey if it’s free take three,” said Ashley Moore, senior from Poteau. “Also, donations are greatly appreciated.”

The Rowdy Resource Room gives back to students who are in need of items throughout the school year. They are located in Leoser Hall next to Essentials. Their hours are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, 2 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

For more information on specific items to donate or any contact information, visit Rowdy’s Resource Room page on the NSU website.
