Kimberly Rystedt, Habitat for Humanity Restore cashier, and Linda Cheatham, Tahlequah Habitat for Humanity executive director, browse kitchen appliances that are available at the Tahlequah Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore offers many furnishings for a home ranging from kitchen appliances to paint for interior walls. The finances from the store benefit the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

The NSU John Vaughan Library not only has books but also magazines, newspapers from surrounding areas and online resources. These sources of information include special collections of Tahlequah and Native American culture.


Local flower shop helps students with Valentine’s Day gifts

A local, family-owned flower shop is trying to help students plan for Valentine’s Day. Donna’s Flowers and Gifts takes the time to make each arrangement custom at an affordable price. For couples, they have roses in many colors starting from $15 single roses to $50 dozen roses. They also have chocolate covered strawberries ranging from $5-25.
