Students donate blood to help save lives

There is a blood drive currently taking place on campus. Students who donate will receive a T-shirt along with a snack and drink.

Students who are interested in donating blood must have positive identification and weigh at least 110 pounds. They cannot have donated blood within the last 56 days or received a vaccination in the last eight weeks. Students who traveled abroad for spring break should be aware they may not be able to donate. To verify a travel location will not affect their ability to donate, students should talk with a Red Cross worker at the blood drive.

The blood drive will be going on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., March 27-28 in the Redbud Room on the third floor of the University Center.

For a full list of do and do not’s, students can visit the blood drive or visit https://obi.org/.
