Graduation often means a new adventure for graduates. Sarah Nelson, Broken Arrow alumae and Shelby O’Neal, Chicago, Ill. alumae have decided to take their adventures international. Nelson will be working with the Peace Corps in Africa and O’Neal will be teaching in Europe.
“Even though I am choosing to live with the bare minimum in Africa,” said Nelson. “The Peace Corps has been my dream for a long time. The application process was long, but it was worth it.”
Nelson and O’Neal are no strangers to international travel. O’Neal completed an internship and graduated in Austria. Nelson has traveled to many other countries in her free time and considers herself a seasoned traveler.
Both ladies will be completing training before they begin their jobs internationally.
