The RiverHawks of the NSU women’s soccer team have a few more games to go. However, they have won 12 games and lost two so far this season. Chase Wooten, NSU women’s soccer head coach, recruited nine new players this season, and they have played a critical role.

“We are doing well, but still have growing and improving to do,” said Wooten, women’s head soccer coach. “We are fairly young, and it takes time to play at a championship level. We spend a big chunk of the fall learning how to play together.”

Wooten said they set goals to play together and they try to limit distractions.  They think that if the process is right, then the results will come.  They are the process-driven not result-driven.
