The main goal of the Study Abroad Fair is to show all study abroad programs in one place, where students and faculty can come and see what the Office of International Programs has to offer. All of the program leaders and representatives related to NSU departments will show up at the event and promote their programs to the whole campus.

The Office of International Programs added new programs this year, and one of them is the International Student Exchange Program. This program allows students to study abroad at the same rate they pay here at NSU, such as NSU tuition, room and board. Since they are enrolled here, they can use their financial aid or any scholarships, depending on what the requirements are by the department that creates a scholarship. Also, there is a study abroad grant to help pay for students’ flights.

“We offer a variety of programs at NSU, but ISEP exchange is the most featured one,” said Yue Song, study abroad coordinator. “It has become more affordable. We are extremely proud of our study abroad programs. We even added a passport service, where people can come in and apply for the passports, get their photo taken and get it sent off.”

The Study Abroad Fair is an annual event that will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct.11 at the University Center, third floor Redbud Room.
