NSGA pingpong tables entertain students

Student spend their free time playing games of table tennis and billiards in the UC underground. In the lounge areas there is a table pingpong table and two billiard tables for students to utilize. The pingpong tables were funded by the Northeastern Student Government Association.

Tomcat Liquors offers student discount

Tomcat Liquors is Tahlequah’s newest addition of liquor stores. They take great pride in putting high standards on cleanliness as well as brightness and organization in their store. With over 700 labels of wine, 300 labels of beer and around 1,000 different spirits, they have something for every occasion and need. They offer NSU students over the age of 21 a 10 percent discount on Thursdays.

SEA presents bisexual educational opportunities

The Stonewall Equality Alliance is known for their LGBTQ activism on campus. Sept. 19-26 is known as bisexual awareness week. SEA is sponsoring educational opportunities by offering information about the organization, highlighting bisexual celebrities, answering questions that are commonly asked and advocating for bisexual awareness on the Tahlequah campus.

John Vaughan Library celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Clarissa Duennenberg, Boerne, Texas junior, sets up John Vaughan Library’s Hispanic Heritage Month display. Saturday, Sept. 15 marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States. Every year, the country uses this time to celebrate impactful Hispanic Americans and their contributions to U.S. culture. Staff at the John Vaughan Library have set up this display to join the celebration.
