After winning the first two games of the Ronnie Hawkins Invitational on Friday, Feb. 2, Clay Davis, NSU softball head coach, picked up his 198th and 199th collegiate victories. On the second day, the RiverHawks split their two games with Southern Arkansas and Christian Brothers, bringing Davis’ total collegiate win count to 200.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to have great players and great assistant coaches around me,” said Davis. “We want to win 40 games for this team and to make a playoff run. As much as this accomplishment means to me, it’s also really good for our program.”

Davis has recorded 112 victories at the helm for the RiverHawks. They will look to continue their winning ways on Thursday, Feb. 8 at Oklahoma Christian University.
