University Police offer additional campus services

NSU University Police aim to help create a safe, secure campus for students and faculty to focus on excelling in academics and public service. The department administers numerous services and programs that support students’ wellbeing, as well as convenience. Officers serve in a variety of roles and are available through many means.

Impressions Dance Company begins rehearsals for concert

Impressions Dance Company performs a recital for students every semester. IDC is the premier dance company of NSU and is open to all students. The company this semester boasts over 30 members, one of the largest groups since the company’s revamp. Members have about nine weeks to learn dances to perform for their recital.

Family and colleagues gather for Dr.Salmons retirement

In 1997, the NSU College of Optometry hired Dr.Thomas Salmon. Throughout his career at NSU, Salmon did everything in his power to provide guidance and leadership in one of the top optometry schools in the nation. After 20 years of teaching at the College of Optometry, Salmon has decided to retire.

BCM Paints the Town Green

Students from the NSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry painted the town green in the homecoming event. The BCM was assigned three windows in front of Workman’s Department Store.
