Kappa Phi is holding an event on campus that will involve all of the sorority and fraternities. The event is a singing bee where participants will have the opportunity to sing missing lyrics to a song in a fun and engaging competition. The sorority or fraternity that raises the most money before the event will be given an extra life during the competition.


Interfraternity Council starts work with a new slate

The Interfraternity Council presides over IFC-associated fraternities on campus. The council is responsible for keeping student and faculty relations with fraternities positive, planning educational and community events and promoting Greek life to students. With the new executive board slated and approved, IFC plans to make big changes in the upcoming semesters.


Diwali celebrates good and light

Diwali, or Deepavali, is a Hindu festival celebrated for five days in India. The Office of International Programs is preparing events and dances to celebrate Diwali at NSU. Diwali is the festival of lights and is celebrated to honor Rama, the seventh incarnation of the god Vishnu. Over time, Diwali became a national festival celebrated by most Indians regardless of faith.
