The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Career Development Program visited NSU on Tuesday, October 23 to reach out to NSU Choctaw students. Jamie Hamil and David Billy, Choctaw Nation Career Counselors, set up a booth on the second floor of the John Vaughn Library. Students were welcomed to visit with Hamil and Billy to learn about the resources and services provided by Choctaw Nation Career Development.

John Vaughan Library invites students to answer weekly questions

At John Vaughan Library, the Access Services department writes weekly questions on their whiteboard. Both students and non-NSU patrons may write their own responses to these questions. Following the theme of Halloween, this week’s question asks “what is your biggest fear?”

Priority enrollment opens for seniors and graduate students

The first eight weeks of classes has ended and seniors and grad students can now enroll for the spring semester. An announcement from the administration encouraged seniors to start enrolling in their final semester of college. Enrollment opening typically results in students meeting with their advisers and making sure they get in the classes they need to complete for their curriculum. It also means it is time to begin applying for graduation.
