Beta Pond restored by university, community teamwork

Beta Pond, located at the south end of NSU’s campus next to the Town Branch, has been a beloved part of NSU history and culture for over 50 years. Every fall semester, freshmen take part in NSU tradition by throwing painted rocks into the pond, leaving their mark on the university’s history literally set in stone.


NSU Greek Life joins together to prevent hazing

NSU’s Greek organizations provide students with opportunities to occupy leadership roles, build strong connections and grow as individuals. As with anything else, however, there are negative aspects that need to be addressed. An issue that has historically plagued Greek organizations around the country is the act of hazing.


Disney offers NSU students internship experiences

Disney is offering NSU students the opportunity to experience the magic known and admired throughout the world while allowing them to simultaneously gain valuable on-the-job experience and meet people from all over the globe. Disney invites students to partake in a five-to seven-month program where they build skills in problem-solving, teamwork, guest service and communication while living at either Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California or to Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
