It’s On Us wants to end sexual assault

It’s On Us is a nationwide campaign that started in September 2014. The campaign was launched from the White House and has included more than 500 campuses. The movement was integrated at NSU as an organization and has been working with the NSU community on changing the perception of sexual assault.


Deaf, Deaf World returns to NSU

More than 1 in 10 people have some form of hearing loss. Deaf, Deaf World is a workshop sponsored by Total Source for Hearing-loss and Access in Tulsa that gives people an opportunity to experience and learn about how being Deaf feels. The upcoming DDW will be the fourth time NSU has welcomed the event.


Town Branch Creek significance ties to NSU

The Town Branch Creek, located most notably to the north of The Branch, serves many purposes in Tahlequah and on NSU’s campus. When Seminary Hall was rebuilt in 1889, it served as a dorm building with a kitchen. For this reason, Seminary Hall was purposely placed near the creek so the creek could serve as a water source for the kitchen and for the students living in the building.
