Greek life advocates against hazing

Greek life has been a part of NSU since at least the 1950s. The university has seen many Greek chapters come and go. Some groups chose to leave campus, some did not meet capacity to stay active and some have been removed from campus for conduct reasons. The Greek life on campus had a shaky start to the semester, and the Office of Greek Affairs is working for positive light moving forward.

Pie a Pi philanthropy returns to campus

Alpha Omicron Pi sorority is set to have its first philanthropic event of the semester, Pie a Pi. Anyone can participate in Pie a Pi by purchasing a pie to throw at a member of AOII. Normal pies are made with shaving cream and cost $1, while customizable pies cost $5. There will be various condiments and food toppings available for anyone who chooses to customize a pie. All proceeds will be donated to the Arthritis Foundation, the official AOII philanthropy.

Tri Sigma pancake dinner fundraises for philanthropy

Northeastern State University’s sorority Sigma Sigma Sigma is preparing their yearly pancake event at NSU. For $5, attendees will receive unlimited pancakes made by the sisters of the Tri Sigma sorority.

Greek awards recognized outstanding Greek organizations

It is the end of the spring semester, which means time for Greek awards. All Greek organizations have worked hard all year leading up to Greek awards, and this year a lot of deserving organizations and individual members were recognized for all their hard work. Jacob Jones, Skiatook senior, is one of those winners, winning Top Greek man.
