Tri Sigma arranges Anchorman pageant

Greek organizations on NSU’s campus typically have another student from outside of their organization represent them. For Tri Sigma, this student serves as their Anchorman. Every year, a student from NSU is chosen to represent Tri Sigma. He is invited to Tri Sigma events and has the opportunity to bond and get to know the members. Each year the Anchorman is different and they make the position their own. No two Anchormen have been the same.

According to the World Health Organization, an estimated 15 million babies are born prematurely each year. Tri Sigma’s philanthropy, The March of Dimes, works to improve the health of mothers and babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Tri Sigma’s Community Easter Egg Hunt is a way for members of the community to aid in this cause.

Sororities compete to raise money for the Wesley

Kappa Sigma organizes a football event each fall semester to raise money for their chapter philanthropy, Military Heros. This Spring, they are debuting a new philanthropy event, Sorority Madness, to raise money for The Wesley. The Wesley Foundation is located just off the Tahlequah campus and serves free meals to students at no charge every Wednesday.
