The Northeastern Student Government Association empowers students to create change on campus through the student senate. Through campaigns and election, members of the student population are elected for a one-year term. Positions include president, vice president and senators.

NSGA members prepare for candidate forum

It is almost time for election day, and NSGA members are getting ready. They are conducting a candidate forum in the Webb Auditorium for all students to attend. The candidate forum is an avenue for students to learn more about those running to represent them within student government. The forum also provides the opportunity for students to ask these candidates questions directly about any topic on their minds.

StuMo makes appearance on NSU campus

Student Mobilization is a nonprofit organization that exists to build spiritual leaders for Christ from the college campuses of the world. StuMo also allows college students to grow in their religious faith and character while meeting students with the same interest. This year, StuMo is an organization on NSU’s campus.

NSU Big Event committee dives head first into planning

The weekend of Feb. 3-5, the NSU Big Event committee had the opportunity to go to the Big Event Conference in College Station, Texas. At the Texas A&M campus, the students learned about leadership, responsibility and community. By bringing this back to the Tahlequah community, the participating students plan to make this 11th annual Big Event one of the best.
