DisCarded establishes roots for upcoming semester

The DisCarded student organization was established on campus this semester. Previously named Scrabble Club, the organization transitioned their name to the newly DisCarded to open up diversity within the organization for more board game genres. Its leaders are working towards creating an atmosphere that is welcoming and enjoyable for any student who wishes to escape college life and play a few games with friends.

NAB showcases cultural holiday traditions

The Northeastern Activities Board is presenting a cultural holiday wall during the final week of the fall semester. The purpose of the event is to allow students to explore and learn about holiday traditions from various countries. The holiday wall is inside the University Center lobby and is available for students to examine all week long during the last week of classes.

Students plan to attend StuMo conference

Every year, StuMo takes NSU students to the StuMo conference, SMC. This conference gives students an opportunity to grow in their relationship with Christ alongside their peers and students from other colleges.

International Office opens OPT workshop

Optional Practical Training is an internship that allows F-1 visa students to complete up to 12 months of training after the completion of a degree program. International students who study in the United States hope to get this opportunity after they graduate. The International Office are facilitating an OPT workshop for students. This workshop helps students solve problems related to OPT qualification applications.
