NSU has over 100 organizations for students to get involved in. One of these organizations is the Students for Animal Welfare. SAW has served the Tahlequah community for nearly eight years and is a way students can earn volunteer hours.

The Graduate College offers over 20 graduate degree programs. Students in their undergraduate program can start planning and working towards a graduate degree at NSU as early as freshman or sophomore.


Tribal Studies hosts ‘Your Style is Born!’ painting workshop with Buffalo Gouge

NSU’s Center for Tribal Studies is welcoming locally famed artist Buffalo Gouge to teach students the value of creating their own style through a hands-on paining workshop. Participants have the opportunity to hear Gouge discuss his own experiences in finding his artistic style in addition to creating their own compositions.
