NSU’s Greek organizations provide students with opportunities to occupy leadership roles, build strong connections and grow as individuals. As with anything else, however, there are negative aspects that need to be addressed. An issue that has historically plagued Greek organizations around the country is the act of hazing.


Medicine Stone 2018 brings another year of red dirt music to Tahlequah

For the past six years, the Medicine Stone music festival has been proudly flying the flag of red dirt country music. The festival now stands as the premier outdoor red dirt music festival and thousands of people look forward to it each year. The festival is returning to Diamondhead Resort, and it is predicted to be the biggest Medicine Stone yet.


Disney offers NSU students internship experiences

Disney is offering NSU students the opportunity to experience the magic known and admired throughout the world while allowing them to simultaneously gain valuable on-the-job experience and meet people from all over the globe. Disney invites students to partake in a five-to seven-month program where they build skills in problem-solving, teamwork, guest service and communication while living at either Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California or to Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
