As the semester winds down, it is often beneficial to take some time away from studying for finals to relax with peers and de-stress. The NSU Wesley Foundation is planning a De-Stress Fest block party to give students an evening to relax before a busy week of finals.

On April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City fell victim to the worst act of domestic terrorism the United States has ever experienced on its own soil – as did the lives of 168 men, women and children. Dr. Johnny Kirk, assistant professor of psychology, witnessed the horrors and damages of the Murrah Building bombing. Now, 22 years later, the images of what he witnessed are still like pictures in his head.

This weekend, the American Optometric Student Association conducts the 26th annual NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry Dr. Preston Smith Memorial 5K Classic. This event is put on to help raise money for a scholarship for students dedicated to optometry.
