What is Media Day?

Media Day is an annual event at NSU geared toward Oklahoma middle school, high school and colleges who participate in media through newspaper and yearbook.

During the event, media professionals conduct an array of learning sessions in categories such as public relations, advertising and journalism. On-site competitions are also available in journalism, photography and advertising.

The main competition is conducted through mail-in entries. Individual students submit entries in each category and are judged by a panel of experts. They are then awarded during Media Day at the awards ceremony.
