David Grann, bestselling author of "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI" will attend NSU’s 2018 Larry Adair Lectureship to offer a personal insight on his book, which will soon be turned into a movie directed by Martin Scorcese starring Leonardo Dicaprio.

Football locker room undergoes makeover

NSU’s football team is one of the major sports on campus. The program plays a major part on and off the field. The coaches and student-athletes represent NSU around campus. The players can be looked at as leaders on campus. The locker room can be a second home to athletes. It is a place where athletes can be comfortable and block distractions going on outside of their football world. Tony Duckworth, NSU athletic director, is in the process of facilitating a re-build of  the football  locker room.

Scholarship offers take drastic change in fall 2018

President’s Leadership Class and RiverHawks Impacting Student Enrollment are two scholarships that have impacted hundreds of students who have gone through each of the programs. Both scholarships give students opportunities to excel in academics, service and leadership.
