It is that time of the year again. The finals week of spring semester is getting closer and many students are starting to feel the pressure with tests and assignments coming up. Northeastern Activities Board offers late night breakfast for all students during finals week. The main goal of the event is to relieve students’ stress and get everyone together to enjoy a free meal. The late-night breakfast is a tradition that NAB has organized every semester for the past several years.

Award ceremony recognizes NSU professor lost too soon

In 2012, Addison Williams, a student at NSU at the time, came up with the idea for the Last Lecture for a contest put on by the Traditions Council. The contest called for a tradition that would foster student involvement, promote a positive image of NSU and last for years to come.

Red Fern Festival approaches quickly

With springtime comes Tahlequah’s annual Red Fern Festival. Celebrating their 11th year, the Red Fern Festival will take place in downtown Tahlequah April 28-29.  The two-day celebration includes live music, a car show, coon dog field trials and the chili and barbecue cook-off, which is arguably the most popular event at the festival.

Summer camps provide opportunities to local community

Summer break is often filled with fun activities for the youth of the community who are enjoying their break from school. The continuing education department at NSU is offering numerous summer camps for the local community. One of the summer camps being offered will focus on the criminal justice system.
