Tahlequah sees infrastructure and business improvements

Tahlequah is still a relatively small town, with a population of approximately 16,000 people. Up to this point Tahlequah has shown a slow increase in population over the last decade. That may be about to change, thanks to some new construction projects that are planned around town.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Center for Women’s Studies at NSU has put on a film festival throughout the month of March, showing films that highlight issues and concerns with different groups of minority women.


Drug, alcohol possession on campus results in consequences

Being in possession of drugs or alcohol on campus can have serious consequences.  NSU is a dry campus. This means there is absolutely no alcohol allowed on the campus at any time. If students are caught with alcohol or controlled substances on their person while on campus, they can get arrested and face possible expulsion from school.
