The department of languages and literature at Northeastern State University announces two graduate students, Jennifer Scott and Cheyenne Roy, along with Dr. Kim Lee, associate professor of English, attended the second biennial Cultural Rhetoric’s Conference at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan recently.

NSU Sequoyah Institute shines the light on Capitol Steps

The Sequoyah Institute at Northeastern State University has been presenting national touring artists to the Tahlequah area for the past 30 years as a part of the Performing Arts Series. The 2016-2017 season starts off with a comedic bang. The Capitol Steps will grace the stage at the NSU Center for Performing Arts with their performance. 

2016-17 Ballenger Seminar Series to present professor from SMU

The 2016-17 Ballenger Seminar is being presented by the Department of History at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1. The lecture will take place in Morgan Room on the third Floor of NSU’s University Center. “The Grand Jury in Historical Perspective,” the lecture will feature guest speaker Dr. Joshua Tate, associate professor at the Southern Methodist University School of Law.

NSUBA to host “The Glass is Half Empty” art show- Oct. 4 – Nov. 6

Katie Pernu, Broken Arrow art teacher and former museum educator, will display her show, “The Glass is Half Empty” at Northeastern State University’s Broken Arrow campus beginning Oct. 4 and displaying through Nov. 6 in the Visitors Center Gallery within the Administration Building.
