On Oct. 3, the Tri-Sigma sorority held their annual Fall Brawl to raise money for the organization’s philanthropy. The fundraiser gave all of the fraternities an opportunity to compete against each other for a trophy and bragging rights. Hannah Reynolds, Midwest City sophomore, helped organize Fall Brawl for Tri-Sigma this year.
“The purpose of Fall Brawl is for Tri-Sigma members to get to know other members of Greek life while raising money for our philanthropy,” said Reynolds.
Fraternities were able to earn points for Fall Brawl before the start of the fundraiser by donating money. At the end of Fall Brawl, Tri-Sigma raised about $1,500 that goes towards the Methodist Church and their foundation. The men of Pi Kappa Alpha came away with first place, while Sigma Tau Gamma achieved second place and Phi Lambda Chi was awarded third place.
Tri-Sigma will have its next fundraiser in November, which will be their annual Baskets for Babies basketball tournament. For more information about future fundraisers, email Reynolds at email@example.com.
